Easter Spring Break Chess Tournament (USCF Rated)

for a fun and exciting chess tournament celebrating Easter and Spring Break. Improve chess skills, meet new friends in the chess community. Enjoy a fun, festival Easter atmosphere. This Tournament, is hosted by CrestWood Chess team, and Fun Chess Club of ACCC (Atlanta Chinese Christian Church), supported by Southeast Chess (501(c)(3) organization) of Parent Teacher Students Organization, and proud sponsor WePartner.

🌸 Event Details: G/25 + 5 sec | Swiss | 4 rounds. All ages and Levels, K–12 students are Welcome. Beginner-friendly.

Round Times: 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:15 PM 02:30 PM

♟️ Tournament Format: Two sections - U800 and Above 800, then by age groups. Swiss-system tournament.

🏆 Awards: Trophies and Medals for top winners.

💲 Registration: $30 (Regular, before April 4) , $40 (late). Special invitation: please contact for code to waiver registration fee.

Additional Details: Sections may be merged under TD discretion. Players may play up if their rating is within 100 points of the section limit. USCF membership is required and must be current. Players are requested to bring a chess clock if they own one.

Note: By Paying Entry Fee for this tournament, the participant's parents/guardians agree for our media-release policy & food allergy waiver.

New or first time players must obtain a USCF membership by going to https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess. Or, you can choose $45 tickets (combo of $30 registration fee + $15 discount bulk membership from us), fill in the information while registration.

Time & Schedule:

l Onsite Checking-in: 9:00–9:30 AM (late arrivals may get a Round 1 bye)

l Round 1: 10:00 AM

l Round 2: ~11:15 AM

l Round 3: ~12:30 PM

l Lunch Break: After Round 3 (~1:30 PM) – bring lunch/snacks or eat nearby

l Round 4: ~2:30 PM

l Awards: After last round (~4:30 PM)
