Easter Indie Beer Fest — London Beer Lab Brixton 2026

Easter weekend in Brixton: a craft beer festival that actually means something. While the city fills with chocolate eggs and family activities, Arch 41 in Brixton's railway arches becomes a haven for people who'd rather be tasting independent beer than unwrapping a Cadbury selection box. The Easter Indie Beer Fest at London Beer Lab is three days, 40 taps, and a blind tasting competition with a handcrafted prize.

Running from 3–5 April 2026 at London Beer Lab Nano Brewery and Taproom, this festival celebrates the best of independent brewing — the kind of beer you don't see behind the bar very often. Each ticket includes three 1/3 glasses of 'festival favourites' chosen from 40 taps pouring everything from traditional bitter to imperial pastry stout, and entry to the blind beer tasting competition, where you'll need your palate and your confidence to identify what's in the glass.

The blind tasting competition is the festival's highlight: mystery beers, no labels, and the prize is a handcrafted ceramic beer stein from the Beer Lab's neighbours at Earthwork Ceramics Studio. It's part quiz, part sensory challenge, and the kind of thing that works whether you win or lose — you'll drink some interesting beer either way.

London Beer Lab is a Brixton institution: a nano brewery, tap room, and brewing school all in one railway arch. They've been running the Indie Beer Fest as an Easter tradition for several years, gradually building it into one of South London's favourite small beer events. The venue — Arch 41, Nursery Road, SW9 — has that particular Brixton arches character: industrial, intimate, and full of people who know their beer. Additional drinks are available to buy beyond your ticket allowance, and the space is comfortable for an extended afternoon session.
