Easter is just around the corner. Though Easter decorations and activities are everywhere, it's hard to find anything reflecting the real meaning of Easter — Jesus Christ's victory over the grave and the sin! We hope you'll join us at the Easter in Five Letters family event where we will get into God’s Word and retrace the events of Jesus’ final days on earth, learning more about His sacrifice and victory over death.
What exactly is Easter in 5 Letters?
There will be seven interactive stations where you and your children will be invited to walk with Jesus through His last days and hours before the cross and then celebrate His resurrection.
This event is comprised of three segments:
Five Interactive Stations
Reflective and Creative Stations
Faith-at-Home experience
INTERACTIVE STATIONS are self-guided, self-paced areas around your church where families will engage in immersive experiences of Jesus' journey to the cross. Families will follow the Easter in Five Letters guide where they'll find Scripture passages and instructions for each of the five stations.
REFLECTIVE and CREATIVE STATIONS are self-guided, self-paced stations at the end of the event, where families will engage in reflective activities about what they just experienced. The Reflection Station involves making the JESUS bracelets. The Creative Station involves Easter rock painting.
We recommend this experience for elementary-aged kids and their parents. Invite your friends and family! We hope to see you all drop in anytime on Friday night between 5:30-7:30.
