Easter Family Fun Day - Emm Brook

To celebrate the Emm Brook, we are running easter themed holiday sessions focusing on the river and what lives around it.

On Thursday 9th April, there are two sessions available:

• 10:30am - 12pm
• 1pm - 2:30pm

These are family friendly, for young people 6 - 11 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Younger children can attend, however all activities may not be age appropriate.

What you'll do:

• River themed scavenger hunt
• Nature art
• River sampling

👉 Booking is essential so we can plan sessions.

⏰ Booking closes at midnight, April 8th.

What do you need to bring?

• Water bottle (filled up!)
• Warm, weather appropriate clothing
• Wear sturdy shoes /wellies and clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty

Accessibility: Activities will take us off-paths, in mud and working around the ground. If you have any questions about access or physical requirements, please get in touch before the event.

Oli R (he/him) will be hosting this event.

Oli is an Education and Engagement Officer at South East Rivers Trust who’s work focuses on the Loddon, Wey and Mole catchment, working to connect young people and communities to their local waterway.

Oli is a qualified teacher, with a degree in geology and physical geography. He has experience teaching students from key stage 3 up to A level, with the last 4 years as an outdoor educator, delivering great sessions to connect young people directly to nature.

In his spare time he loves being in the outdoors, walking or being either in or around water. He also supports his local Scout group, often taking them away to enjoy pursuits such as paddleboarding.
