Fancy a few hours outdoors learning how to Fly fish? This is a family friendly event for both Parent and Child. A great way to learn a new skill, whilst also creating that much needed bonding time. There will be slots made available for the day on a first come first served basis. These slots will be in 2hr sessions priced at £40 (if its your first time at Sleekburn your first 2hrs fishing are FREE OF CHARGE on a Cacth and Release basis) if you wish to stay longer then a permit must be bought.
Fly rods and reels will be included in the price.
What you must bring:-
•Hat and Sunglasses/Glasses
•Appropriate clothing for outdoors (waterproofs, sun cream etc.)
•A Rod license will be required for all Adults. Children however must follow these rules.....
Age Requirements:
Children under 13: No rod fishing license required.
Children aged 13-16: Free junior license required, but they must register online.
Anyone aged 13 or over: Must have a rod fishing license to fish for salmon, trout, freshwater fish, smelt, or eel.
