Easter Eggstravaganza 2025 | City of Denton

The City of Denton warmly invites you to its annual Easter Eggstravaganza set for Saturday April 12 2025 at Quakertown Park and the Denton Civic Center located at 321 E. McKinney St.

Event Highlights:

• Egg Hunts: With over 50000 eggs hidden throughout the park children can participate in age-specific hunts to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience.
• Sensory-Friendly Hour: From 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. the event offers a sensory-friendly environment with dimmed lighting and quieter music culminating in a specialized egg hunt at 9:30 a.m.
• Family Activities: Enjoy a variety of attractions including bounce houses arts and crafts stations face painting balloon twisting and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.

Detailed Schedule:

• 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.: Sensory-Friendly Hour (reduced lights and sounds)
• 9:30 a.m.: Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt on the pink field & 0-2-year-olds on the purple field
• 9:45 a.m.: Story Time with the Library at the Amphitheater
• 10:30 a.m.: Egg Hunts for 3-4-year-olds on the purple field & 7-8-year-olds on the yellow field
• 10:45 a.m.: Story Time with the Library at the Amphitheater
• 11:30 a.m.: Egg Hunts for 5-6-year-olds on the purple field & 9-10-year-olds on the yellow field

Attendees can find public parking options including free street parking and paid lots detailed on the Denton Main Street Association's page.
