We are eggcited for the annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Thursday, April 17, at Lindsey Park, 12557 Spur 344 W. The entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and concludes with the egg hunts on the softball fields.
Admission is free, but children should bring their own Easter baskets. Activities will include a DJ, face painting, an obstacle course, a balloon artist, vendor booths, and food trucks, which are available for a fee.
The egg hunts are categorized by age groups:
6:45 p.m. – 5 & under
7 p.m. – Children ages 6 to 8
7:20 p.m. – Children ages 9 to 11
7:40 p.m. – Ages 12 and older
8:15 p.m. – Adult 18+
Hunt times are subject to change depending on circumstances. Only one group at a time will hunt. Parents are not allowed on the field during hunt time, except during the 5 & under group time slot. Lights will remain on during all hunts.
Pre-registration is required for the adult egg hunt. The hunt is free but requires a wristband to participate, which can be picked up at the information table on the event day. The hunt will start at 8:15 p.m., and immediately after, ticket prizes can be claimed at the information table until 9:15 p.m. You must have tickets to claim prizes! And a light source. The hunt will be in the dark, so lights will be off!
