Easter Egg Dioramas Cookie Decorating Class

2D diorama cookie making is an amazing form of cookie art using smaller cookies and candy to create a scene into an XL fluted egg cookie. Your final creations will be beautiful to package up individually and gift for the week of Easter or for Earth Month! (cello bags included)

In this class we will decorate 4 final egg cookie scenes:

4 XL eggs

1 Bunny + Carrot scene

1 Jumping Bunny scene

2 Mini Owls scene

2 Mini Squirrels scene

As in all of our cookie workshops Dani will provide a step by step "how to ice" demonstration of each cookie then each participant decorates their own version. Icing decorating candy and all supplies included. Participants take home a box of cookies they decorated plus the packaging supplies to gift these amazing creations!

Festive attire is always welcome and encouraged!

This is an intermediate level class. All cookie supplies included. Registration for this event will close Sunday April 13th. BYO for adults welcome. 8 spaces available. Ages 12 and up. Cookie class will be approx 2.5 hours long. This workshop will be held in our studio at 717 Bangs Ave Asbury Park NJ

COOKIE WORKSHOP FAQ:

Our icing tables are communal so be prepared to sit with others.

Ticketholders at Icing Tables Only: Due to room capacity and social distancing constraints we are only able to accommodate cookie icers at our icing table.

Colds Flu and Covid: If you are feeling unwell please do not attend class. If you are well enough to attend but have a lingering cold or cough please wear a mask.

Timing: The workshop will last for approximately two hours depending on class speed of icing each cookie. Please arrive on time or 5 minutes before. We do not have space to accommodate super early arrivals and are often setting up till the last minute. If you are early grab a cup of coffee or tea next door at Goldrush.

Food & Beverage: BYOB welcome for adults. We have filtered water in house. No outside food allowed. If you'd like a snack please check out our add ons menu.

Cookie Allergy Disclaimer: Sweet Dani B cookies are preservative free and are baked with the freshest ingredients... butter eggs sugar flour and a few secret ingredients that make them extra yummy. Our recipe does not include nuts but our cookies and icing is made in a kitchen where nuts are present. In the workshop we will be using various candies to decorate our cookies as well as royal icing which is made with sugar and meringue powder.

Photo Release: We take lots of photos in our workshops. Please let us know if you prefer not to be photographed.

Parking: Metered Street Parking- download ASBURY PARK app or pay at meter right near shop. You may also park in the Asbury Park Municipal lot for metered parking.

Refunds: Due to limited seating and the individual prep work required for each cookie icer in attendance our cookie workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend you are welcomed to transfer your seat to someone else. Alternately we are happy to decorate your cookie set for you and schedule a pick up of them for a few days later. If you are unable to attend please let us know which option you prefer. Snow day rescheduling or refunds will be announced as needed.
