Easter Cookie Decorating Class

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Sweet Stiles Cookie is here to help! We’ll be decorating a “hoppy” Easter theme this time – lots of bunnies gettin’ into all sorts of mischief trying to find carrots while we decorate Easter eggs!

You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, cancelations, and FAQs are below.

ABOUT THIS CLASS

This class is on April 6th and starts at 2:00PM sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer questions along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!

All are welcome to join this class, however this class is recommended for ages 8 and up. If you have some kiddos staying at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus - I'll send you the class steps so you can teach them yourself! Atendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

The class will be held at the HUB 868 in Collingswood, NJ located at 868 Haddon Ave. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is pretty easy - Street parking is available on Haddon Ave and there are several public parking lots within walking distance. THINGS TO BRING

Wondering what you need to bring to have a successful time decorating? Well – nothing’s required – but here’s the things I recommend if you’d like to elevate your experience!

• Bring an apron! Things can get messy when you’re workin’ with royal icing – so grab an apron (bonus points if it’s cute – I’ll definitely be asking where you got it).
• Bring your glasses! There’s a reference slide deck to help you decorate, but if things get blurry far away, seeing glasses may be a great bet.
• Bring your phone! I love it when students take pictures throughout class – so bring a phone!
• Bring a good attitude! Cookies are fun, but they're also challenging! A good attitude makes all the difference.

CANCELATION / REFUND / SICK POLICY

Showing Symptoms Before 7 Days Out:

If you’re sick or can't make it prior to the 7-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund!

Showing Symptoms After 7-Days Out:

For any sickness symptoms prior to your class’s start time but after the 7-day refund policy, please email [email protected] before your class’s start time. I can either (1) enroll you in a future class or (2) provide you with a take home version of the class and a 50% refund.

You Don't Show Up or Email Prior To Class:

If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, I won’t be able to offer you a refund or roll you into the next class even if you're sick. So please reach out before class!

DIY / ADD-ON KITS

Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund.

Weather Policy: Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and Mother Nature seems to be takin’ notes. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
