Breaking news! We are launching a new ‘Eastbourne 5k’, with the inaugural event on Sunday 14th September, starting and finishing at Holywell at 0930. Limited to 250 places. Flat, fast, all abilities welcome age 11+. Run Britain approved. If the race proves popular, we intend to have a FREE 1 mile race for children age 4-14 before the 5k race, probably at 0900. (Children’s race will be entry on the day). We are raising money for a very special cause, Adi’s Sunshine fund, details of which are on the Eastbourne Runs Website. I’ll also share more details on the charity on this page later today. The event will not have medals as we want to raise as much as we can for the charity, but it will have podium, age group, youth and age group prizes plus a couple of finish line freebies!
