Sorry for the long post but this is NOT an average series! The official rules are subject to change with ample notice prior to the beginning of the first event.
The races will be February 1st and March 1st at MMRC and February 15th and March 15th at Limitless! Doors will open at 8am and racing starts at 10am at both facilities. Track layout practice will be offered prior to each race.
Classes:
Individual points:
Rookie single class $10
21.5 Stock Buggy
17.5 Stock Buggy
13.5 4wd Buggy
13.5 Stadium Truck
13.5 SCT
Pro 2wd mod (this class can run as a
single class at $30 or one of your classes as part of the series)
Team Classes:
17.5 Stock Buggy
13.5 Short Course Truck
Traxxas Slash 2wd Stock Class
Box stock class for NON sponsored racers (No Chassis or electronics sponsored racers). Stock 2wd Slash class. Kits have to follow the rules provided.
Cash prizes for this class only $250 first $100 second $50 Third.... All class participating racers receive a ticket for a drawing for a new in the box Traxxas Slash. This class will be all individual points and is a special class. This class can be run in addition to the 2 class restriction and the cost is $10 per person.
17.5 Stock Buggy and 13.5 Short Course Truck will be the classes for those that want to compete for a spot to run in the team class.
The team racers for this class will be picked by Marc and Scott after the 2nd qualifier. Up to 12 qualifying racers (up to 6 from each track)will be picked based on run times amongst other undisclosed criteria from the first two qualifying runs (the team members are the sole discretion of management). The 12 racers will be divided into A and B mains to run double mains with the tie breaker of total combined main races. The remaining racers will be moved back to individual standings to run the final qualifier and a single main. Points will be tallied as a team and since every week we will be picking racers for the team on different criteria it may not always be the same racers. So the racers run times of their 2nd main will be recorded into the individual final standings.
Trophies for the final race of the top 3 in all mains and the Team takes home the Team Traveling Trophy to their home track. Please no Pro drivers in the team events (this does not include chassis sponsors etc just no pro ranked drivers)
1 drop will be allowed
Only racers that make all 4 races will be eligible for final race door prizes.
Race Fees:
$50 total entry fee includes up to 2 standard classes (not per class).
The Traxxas Slash 2WD Stock class is an additional $10 entry fee.

Racing starts at 10am
Team points series:
2 - 5min qualifiers laps/times
Double 5min mains
Individual points series:
3 - 5min qualifiers laps/times
1 - 5 min main event
Standard points per 1 point per position 1 point for the Top qualifier of all 3 qualifiers, 1 point for top Consistency per round per class (we will award 1 point for top Consistency for every qualifier round and 1 per main for every class).
