About this Event
The Steinbeck House is excited to announce our first annual classic and vintage car show on Sunday, October 18th, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Salinas City Heritage Park (ITC parking lot).

Our goal for this free, family-friendly community event is to celebrate the legacy of John Steinbeck while bringing the community together for a fun-filled day featuring classic and vintage cars, live music, children’s activities, food prepared by the Steinbeck House and local vendors, car rides to and from the Steinbeck House, a silent auction, and more! We also aim to provide opportunities for local organizations and businesses to connect with and gain more visibility throughout the Salinas Valley community.
For more than 50 years, the Steinbeck House has been preserved and operated by the dedicated volunteers of the nonprofit Valley Guild. Today, more than 100 volunteers help make the Steinbeck House's restaurant, tours, gift shop and bookstore, special events, and community programs possible.
Help us make this first event a success, build a tradition for years to come, and raise our goal of $20,000 to support the preservation and ongoing operations of the Steinbeck House.
