About this Event

The world-class East Lansing Film Festival screens at the beautiful movie theater, Studio C, independent films that you would not get a chance to see in the local theaters. On Thursday, November 6th, ELFF opens with the award-winning French film, SOULEYMANE'S STORY, about an African immigrant's struggles to find work and asylum. The festival continues through November 13th presenting 3 incredible and unique Short Film Programs, a Short Documentary Program, 5 narrative features and 6 documentaries. Each program and films are shown twice for your viewing convenience. We close on Thursday, November 13th by bringing back two fantastic documentaries, SEARCHING FOR SUGARMAN and MY OCTOPUS TEACHER, by audience acclaim!
