East Lancashire IOSH Community - Coaching for Safety

This session will explore how coaching techniques can be used to positively influence safety culture, strengthen leadership capability and improve workforce engagement. Rather than focusing solely on rules and compliance, coaching encourages meaningful conversations that inspire personal responsibility and behavioural change.

Michael will introduce practical coaching principles that can be applied immediately within your organisation, whether you’re a safety professional, manager or supervisor. You’ll gain insight into how effective questioning, active listening and supportive challenge can lead to safer behaviours and stronger team relationships.

If you’re looking to move beyond traditional approaches and develop the skills to influence safety performance in a more impactful way, this introductory course is an excellent opportunity. This is an in‑person event intended for those based in Burnley. Please only register if you are able to travel to the venue.
