The East Doc Platform (EDP) is the largest co-production, funding, and distribution event for documentary filmmakers from Central and Eastern Europe organized by the Institute of the Documentary Film. Every year, we connect directors, producers, and industry leaders—broadcasters, distributors, festival programmers, and decision-makers from all over the world. 🎬

The flagship event of EDP, the East Doc Forum offers a pitching opportunity for feature documentaries and factual series in development or early production stages. It’s where groundbreaking ideas meet potential co-producers and funders.

This curated marketplace facilitates meetings between filmmakers and decision-makers, providing essential networking opportunities for projects in development, production, or post-production stage.
