BUILD:
Lists from all V4 MW Flames of War books that have been released before Aug 1, 2025 can be used. Wildcard Units are not permitted in this event. Players should bring printed copies of their lists from “Forces” .
Forces may consist of up to 3 formations with no duplication of same type Tank, Lt Tank or Armored Car formations.
Missions and Stance:
Missions will be chosen using the current Extended Mission Matrix, as of Aug 1, 2025.
Players will be limited in Stance selection. Each stance must be selected at least once in the Tournament Attack, Maneuver, Defend (A, M, D).
We will attempt to have Red vs. Blue Matchups if possible but may diverge from that based on turnout and scores through the tournament. Players are welcome to submit lists for Axis and Allies if they are willing to switch to balance sides.
We will use the latest Expanded Missions Pack. The current mission pack can be found here: https://www.flamesofwar.com/.../Docum.../FOW-Missions-NB.pdf
Rules:
All armies must be fully painted and based. 3 color minimum.
Slow play is discouraged and fair play should dominate the day. The mini rule book and the most current LFTF will be used :https://www.flamesofwar.com/Portals/0/Documents/Version4/LessonsFromTheFront-V4-NB.pdf. Rule dispute will be arbitrated by 3 Master’s level players and the TO.
Proxy models are prohibited and 3D printed models are discouraged. Remember, Battlefront is a model company that produces rule sets to sell models. Armies with 3d painted models are not eligible for “best painted” award.
Prize support from Battlefront will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best Sport and Best Painted Army.
ROOKIE RULES IN PLAY!!! Any new or newer player that wants to learn the game can play and will be randomly matched with a veteran player for a “teaching and learning” experience. The vets job is to teach you how to play the game, not crush you!! If you are brand new and want to learn the game let us know and we’ll provide you with an army to play and give you FREE admission. Vet player will be awarded with 8 points and the “Rookie” will earn points based on units destroyed. Players ranked 50 or higher or who has ever won a FOW tournament will not play a rookie in round 1. Lowest scoring Vets will be given priority in subsequent rounds to be paired with a rookie.

12:30-1:30 Parade of Forces with best painting scoring.
1:30-4pm Round 2
4:15-6:45- Round 3

12-12:30 Break (snacks provided)
12:30-3pm Round 5
$20 Sign up. All proceeds will be used for lunches, drinks and snacks with any balance going to prize support.
