At just 17 years old, Luka Hall stands as a prodigious fiddle-playing virtuoso hailing from Prince Edward Island. Since the age of 9, Luka has been captivating audiences with his mesmerizing performances, establishing himself as a rising star in the vibrant island trad music scene. In the recent months, Luka has stepped into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter, releasing two self-penned singles ‘When I Saw You’ and ‘The Flowers of Our Nature’. 2024 started off with a bang for Luka, with an opportunity to showcase with Shane Pendergast at the “You’re Roots Are Showing” festival in Dundalk, Ireland in January.
Irish Millie is a 17-year old fiddle player, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Peterborough Ontario. She has toured in Europe, the USA and on the East and West Coasts of Canada. Her first album entitled Thirteen garnered her a 2022 Canadian Folk Music Award nomination in the category of Young Performer of the Year. She was nominated for the same award again in 2023 for her work with her band The Receivers and in 2024 for her EP The Trilogy. Millie is honoured to be named Peterborough Folk Fest's 2023 Emerging Artist of the Year! She specializes in many genres including East Coast, Bluegrass and Contemporary Trad music. She has experience teaching and running sessions at festivals. She has Just released her second official album "GRACE", which explores the mixing of Folk with elements of EDM.
