After our fantastic evening with Andrew Smith from Little Brown Dog, we're staying with the indie bottlers, and I’m sure this one will be just as good! … Welcome to The Heart Cut!
For those of you who haven't heard of Georgie Bell….. What can I say about Georgie?… Industry legend, universally respected and a phenomenal role model for people looking to get into the world of whisky.
Before launching The Heart Cut, Georgie spent 12 years working in the whisky industry where she gained recognition as one of the pre-eminent figureheads of the new whisky generation.
Her career experience includes working as a Global Brand Ambassador for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, Diageo and Bacardi. As well as holding a second degree in distillation, Georgie is a Keeper of the Quaich, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Distillers and has the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 1 and 2 Awards in Wine and the Level 3 Award in Spirits….She also has great taste in whisky!
Georgie is a co-founder of The Heart Cut along with husband, Fabrizio Leoni., which collaborates with whisky distilleries across the world to release one-off single cask bottlings. They were also awarded ‘Independent Bottler of the Year’ in the 2024 Global Icons of Whisky Awards.

A London Rye Whisky from East London Liquor Co, matured in a Hackney Brewery Chocolate Stout cask
3: Kyrö - a Finnish malt rye whisky from Kyrö Distillery, Isokyrö,
4: Westward -
An American Single Malt from Westward Whiskey, Portland, matured in a New American Oak cask
5: St George Spirits -
Experimental Malt from St. George Spirits in San Francisco - a distilled heavily hopped IPA, matured in a fourth fill Californian Ale cask
6: St. George Spirits -
Experimental Malt from St. George Spirits in San Francisco - a distilled coffee stout matured in a New American Oak cask
7: M & H -
A Single Malt from Milk & Honey Distillery in Isreal, fully matured in a Pomegranate Wine cask
