Reconnect with the Soul of Healing Traditions
In an age dominated by scientific evidence and clinical protocols, have we lost touch with the profound philosophical roots that give East Asian medicine its transformative power?
Join us for this immersive workshop that bridges ancient wisdom with modern practice. Explore how the ethical frameworks of Buddhism, Daoism, and Confucianism create the foundation for truly holistic healing—where techniques are inseparable from philosophy, and treatment becomes a sacred space for transformation.
What You'll Experience:
This innovative workshop combines:
- Self-paced online learning through pre-recorded videos (to be completed before the workshop)
- One full day of in-person collaborative exploration with facilitated discussions, contemplative practices, and practical applications
Together, we'll explore:
• The ethical dimensions that shape East Asian medicine beyond techniques
• How reconnection with Qi creates transformative healing spaces
• Understanding disease as disruptions in natural harmony
• Practical ways to integrate philosophical principles into your practice
Your Guide:
Angela brings 40 years of clinical experience as a multimodality practitioner. With post-graduate qualifications in Health Sciences and Philosophy, she bridges practical application with deep philosophical understanding. Angela is a senior supervising Acupuncturist at the Southern School of Natural Therapies and teaches Philosophy and Ethics at the Australian Shiatsu College.
