East Anglia IOSH Community - Managing Change: Smarter Plant Segregation

This practical and interactive session will explore the everyday challenges of people and plant segregation, with a focus on improving safety in real working environments.

You will gain insight into how effective management of change supports safer plant operations, particularly within Red Zone areas, and how greater plant awareness can help reduce risk on site.

What to expect:

• Meet and greet over breakfast with fellow safety professionals
• Management of change presentation
• Plant awareness in Red Zone areas
• Hands-on demonstrations
• VR headset experiences
• Machine simulators
• A chance to see vehicle blind spots up close

You will even have the opportunity to get into a digger to better understand operator visibility and site challenges. No machinery will be running during the event.

Important information:

• No PPE required
• Please wear sensible shoes if you wish to access the digger
• This is an in-person event with limited spaces available
• Please only register if you are able to travel to the venue
