Happy Earth Week and welcome to the 2026 Trail Community Clothing Swap! This event is to inspire sustainable fashion practices by setting up a space for the community to exchange good quality used clothing items at no cost to anyone!REGISTER: https://forms.gle/uWP7vdqU5s8ZV5Js5
What is a clothing swap?
You can think of a clothing swap like a pop-up thrift shop, but no money changes hands. Each participant can bring up to 10 items and leave with up to 10 items from other participants. All leftover items will be donated to local thrift associations. This swap is for items in good or great used condition - no holes or stains - think quality over quantity! New and unworn garments are also encouraged, especially if they have been sitting unsold on FB Marketplace for a while ;)
What items are acceptable?
YES! Pants, shirts, dresses, skirts
YES! Athletic wear (sports bras in great condition are acceptable)
YES! Shoes, boots, sandals
YES! Professional Clothes
What items will not be accepted?
NO! Children’s clothing or toys (I can direct you to Facebook groups that exchange free children's clothing all year 'round)
NO! Undergarments, socks, stockings, bathing suits (sports bras in great condition are acceptable)
NO! Jewelry, accessories, sports equipment, anything that is not clothes..
Where do I bring my clothes?
In order to manage the volume of items and participants, it is preferred that you drop off your items before the day of the event. This will allow Julia and the volunteers to organize the pieces before noon on Saturday. You will receive your ‘key’ to the event when clothes are dropped off.
Wednesday, April 22, 1-5pm: Century 21 Kootenay Homes Rossland office (2110 Columbia ave., Rossland)
Thursday, April 23rd, 5:30-8pm: Century 21 Kootenay Homes Trail Office (1358 Cedar ave., Trail)
Friday, April 24th, 1-6pm: Century 21 Kootenay Homes Trail Office (1358 Cedar ave., Trail)
LAST MIN DROPOFF: 9-1030am @ First Presbyterian Church Hall Downtown Trail.
