Earth Week Cleanup: North Gandy Beach

It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful is excited to announce the 2025 Great American Cleanup (GAC) taking place from March 1st – June 30th. This Keep America Beautiful signature event engages thousands of volunteers, removing litter and beautifying locations throughout Pinellas County. The success of our mission relies on the engagement of residents to take responsibility within their own neighborhoods. Our partners and volunteers are individuals, families, students, civic organizations, businesses, and government entities who all want to improve the environmental health of the community in which we call home.

For Earth Week, Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the Institute for Stategic Policy Solutions are hosting a cleanup at North Gandy Beach on April 25th! Volunteers will assist with cleaning the shoreline and mangroves. We can't wait to see you there!

Please Note: Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult

WHERE TO MEET: We will meet at North Gandy Beach, on the North side of Gandy Blvd in St. Petersburg (Click here to view in Google Maps). Look for the Keep Pinellas Beautiful signs, table and tent.

TIME: Cleanup will begin at 9:00 AM. Please arrive a few minutes early to get signed in.

WHAT TO WEAR: Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes such as sneakers, sun protection, and weather appropriate clothing.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Cleanup supplies will be provided. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers are required to sign our waiver upon arrival. There are no public restrooms onsite.

PARKING: Free parking is available along the shoreline and grass.
