A low sensory, guided soak in the four elements and spirit as prayer and contemplation.Arriving, leaving the world of spoken words as you walk up the stairs, welcoming silence. We greet with gentle bows, a hand to a heart, perhaps silent namaste of prayer hands reaching from heart to throat.
Making a nest, people can sit or lie down, softening into the space.
There will be an invite, a call, to arrive in our body, a gentle journey to inner space. The crystal singing bowls and drum hold the space. Words of prayer and connection follow for the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water and Spirit. Each element is followed by a quiet moment of bowls or drum. A chance to be with the element.
There is the gentle return to the space. An invitation to leave a prayer or reflection on the altar, paper and crayons inviting playfulness. The silence still wraps around us as we close the space. The stairs a slow re-emergence.
Doors will open at 6.15pm with the event beginning at 6.30 (the door will close at this point).
The closing will be between 7.30 and 7.45pm.
Suggested contribution is $15 on the door.
Please bring a willingness to embrace silence.
