About this Event
EcoShip is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that collects shipping materials from Chicagoland communities and distributes them to businesses and individuals for reuse.
Join us as we welcome Earth Month. We'll be hosting a neighborhood clean-up, a clothing swap, and numerous sustainable organizations and businesses based in Chicago who will be sharing their missions. Enjoy complimentary light bites and N/A beverages (while supplies last), hands-on activities, and enter for a chance to win some goodies!
Itinerary:
11:00am-12:00pm Neighborhood clean-up in partnership with Love Blue Inc. Please RSVP using the correct ticket option in checkout if you would like to join the clean-up. RSVP's are required for this portion so we know how many grabbers/buckets to have.
11:00am-3:00pm During our open house, drop off your packaging materials, enjoy complimentary refreshments and crafts (while supplies last), and enter our chance-to-win drawing by making a donation towards our organization. All proceeds will directly benefit our work in the community.
12:00pm-2:00pm Check out numerous incredible Chicago organizations and businesses focused around sustainability. Learn about Love Blue Inc., The Urban Canopy, Reduce Waste Chicago, Chicago Furniture Bank, The Unwaste Shop, Cradles to Crayons, Snail Catalog, Trash Castle, and others. Bring your hard-to-recycles and find out how to get involved with them.
