The First Religious Society UU-Newburyport, and its Green Team, will be hosting a free presentation and reception on Sunday, April 27 at 1 pm, featuring Scott and Amy Weidensaul.
Scott is an author of nearly 30 books on natural history and birds, and Amy, is an ecologist, educator and the Senior Regional Director for Mass Audubon. They will speak on the extraordinary appeal and wonder of birds, and also about engaging new communities with nature conservation and environmental activism. Please join us to hear from the Weidensauls and to gather together as people with concerns about the threats to our environment and the impact on future generations. We will be joined by representatives of a wide array of local and regional environmental groups and organizations. Come and learn from one another, support our common interests, and consider local actions to protect our natural world.
