Earth Day Lunch and Learn

Join us for a fun and educational event celebrating Earth Day! We invite you to the African American Society #024 on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at 12:00 PM for a day filled with delicious food and valuable information.

Discover how the legacy of racism makes people of color more vulnerable to climate change, and learn what you can do to prepare your household and community. This in-person event is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and take action in response to climate change.

FREE LUNCH

All attendees will recieve a free lunch from Caribe Soul. Lunch will be served buffet style and includes jerk chicken, rice and beans, oxtails, and grilled vegetables.

This event is brought to you by Access to Resources for Climate Change (A.R.C.C.), an initaitve to raise awareness about disaster recovery resources and the risks of climate change in low-income communities in Greater New Haven.
