Earth Day Fair

Come to the fun-filled Earth Day Fair!

The Fair will take place at the south end of the park, where picnic tables are available for attendees to enjoy.

♻️ Waste Reduction:

Help us limit waste by bringing your own reusable cups, water bottles, utensils, and containers. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! You'll even receive tickets for opportunity draws!

👗 Clothing Swap:

Bring up to ten gently used and clean clothes to participate in the clothing swap.

✨How the Clothing Swap Works!

• Find up to 10 clean and gently used (no holes or tears) clothing items, like shirts, bottoms, dresses, jackets, and bags.
• When you bring your clothes, your items will be weighed and sorted.
• Arrive between 11 AM - 12 PM, and shop!
• After 12:00 PM, the Clothing Swap opens to the general public and anyone can take as many clothes as possible.

**The City of Glendale is not liable nor responsible for items being clean and in good condition.

📍 Getting to Verdugo Park:

By Bus:

• Metro Bus Route 90: Stops at Verdugo Park/Canada stop.
• Beeline Bus: Routes 3, 7, 8, 31 stop at various locations near the park.

By Bike:
Ample bike parking available near the south end of the park.

By Metro Micro:
Verdugo Park is within the Highland Park/Eagle Rock/Glendale zone.

Dial-A-Ride:
Residents aged 65+ or registered disabled residents can arrange drop-offs. Visit GlendaleTransit.com for details.

By Car:
Free parking inside the park and at Lot 32. Metered parking available at Lot 34 and nearby streets.

🎟️ Giveaways and Raffle Tickets:
Bring your own reusable items or use eco-friendly transportation to earn opportunity draw tickets.

• Eco-friendly transportation includes Bus, Bike, Metro Micro, Dial-A-Ride, or walking. Take photo or video proof of you taking public transportation.
• Bring reusable items such as water bottle, cups, Tupperware, or utensils to receive opportunity draw tickets.

Tickets will be given at the Office of Sustainability's table.
