Earth Day Cleanup, FREE Volunteer Event, Ages 12 and up

Celebrate Earth Day at Hempstead Lake State Park! Join us for a litter pick around the park and help keep our green space clean. Gloves, bags, and pick sticks will be provided.

This program is designed for ages 12 and up. Please dress accordingly for the weather. Bring a jacket, closed toe hiking shoes, and a water bottle. We will meet at the Environmental Education and Resiliency Center in Field 1 of Hempstead Lake State Park.

No admission fees for this program. Each person in your party needs a ticket. Reservations are required for all programs. Space is limited. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
