Join us for an Earth Day Cleanup and make a difference in our community!📅 Date: Saturday, April 18
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM kickoff
📍 Location: 1178 Acushnet Ave, New Bedford, MA 02746
Our headquarters will be located in the public parking lot behind Cotali Mar Restaurante.
👉 Free t-shirts to all participants. Tools and gloves will be provided. Coffee and donuts for breakfast. Pizza lunch!
If you have an OCS shirt from a past cleanup, feel free to wear your vintage tee — totally optional, and it won’t affect getting a new shirt after the logo and name reveal.
Schedule:
9:00 a.m. - Sign in, pick up tools and gloves, grab some coffee and donuts, and get assigned an area to clean.
11:30 a.m. - Return to headquarters, clean your hands, grab some pizza, and get ready for the Big Name Reveal.
Our Semi Finalists have been invited and will be waiting to see if their Whaletastic name wins the Grand Prize and an amazing prize basket (plus bragging rights!). This is the moment — our mascot will finally have a name, and will proudly steward us into the future of Clean Sweep. And we want YOU, our dedicated volunteers, with us for the moment — with photo opps and a bit of fun too.
We’ll also share thank yous and acknowledgements to celebrate everyone who helped make this milestone year special. Everyone is invited — bring friends, family, and neighbors as we celebrate Earth Day together.
