Earth Day: Clean Up the QueensWay

Join Trust for Public Land and NYC Parks for a volunteer cleanup on the site of the future QueensWay park!

Come join us for a morning of community service in Forest Park! Let's work together to keep our park clean and beautiful. Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes - we'll provide gloves, trash bags, and pickers.

IMPORTANT MEETING INFO: We will meet outside of the Stop and Shop (8989 Union Tpke, Glendale, NY 11385) on Union Turnpike at 10:00AM to walk in to the park. Free parking is in the garage adjacent to the Stop and Shop.

If you arrive late and the group has gone ahead: Please follow the public walking path on the left side of Forest View Crescent Apartments (see images for reference) directly across the street. This will lead you straight to the trail head where staff will be waiting to check you in!
