Celebrate Earth Day with the City’s Sustainability Department on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 11 am to 5:30 pm.Kick off the day with a Tree Planting Ceremony at 11 am, then head into the Community Room for interactive activities from 11:30 am to 2 pm. Enjoy local tastings, an engaging animal presentation with show and tell, interactive games, space imagery of Earth, and hands on activities like making your own laundry soap. Complimentary snow cones will also be available to keep you cool while you explore.
Tree giveaways will be available while supplies last.
The celebration will conclude with a screening of The Lorax at 4 pm, making it a fun and meaningful way to honor Earth Day for all ages.
