Earth Day 2026 Butterfly Raise and ReleaseLittle Wings. Big Wonder.
There is something about watching a butterfly take flight that stops you in your tracks.
This Earth Day, we are inviting our Fantasy Island Toys families to experience that wonder in the most hands on way possible by raising and releasing your very own native butterflies.
We are pre selling LIVE Butterfly Growing Kits now through March 15. Each kit includes five live baby caterpillars and everything your family needs to observe the full butterfly life cycle up close. Over the course of about three weeks, your children will watch their caterpillars grow, form chrysalides, and finally emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies.
It is real world science happening right on your kitchen counter.
It is patience.
It is anticipation.
It is awe.
After your family enjoys the butterflies in their habitat for a few days, we will gather together on Saturday, April 25 to release them into the Fairhope sky. This shared moment will celebrate growth, stewardship, and the simple beauty of nature while also helping pollinate our precious environment.
At Fantasy Island Toys, we believe play is powerful. We believe learning should feel magical. And we believe the memories made in small moments often last the longest.
This Earth Day event is more than a project. It is an experience your children will carry with them.
