Discover in 4 days the essential skills and knowledge to build your home with earth. It includes a half-day field trip to visit a couple living off-grid and growing their own food.
Build walls using two techniques (Adobe bricks, Wattle and Daub).
Practise also soil testing and earth decoration.
Learn about
- concrete foundations and environmentally friendly foundations
- bio-climatic design (design for enhancing thermal comfort with a minimum use of energy)
Stay in 'Earth Home', a peaceful homestay in a small village. The rooms are made from earth and have a private bathroom.
