Calling all early years professionals!

Join the Herefordshire Early Years Improvement Team for our half-termly Early Years Update Briefings. These face-to-face sessions are designed for leaders and managers across all types of early years provision, offering valuable opportunities to network with colleagues, share experiences, and stay informed about the latest developments affecting the sector.

Whether you are new to an early years leadership role or an experienced manager, continuing professional development is essential to delivering high-quality early education and care. These briefings will provide you with the knowledge, confidence and professional connections needed to support your setting, staff and children effectively.

Each briefing will include:
• National and local early years updates from the Early Years Improvement Team and Local Authority colleagues
• Safeguarding information, guidance and updates
• EYFS developments, priorities and examples of effective practice
• Insights into current Ofsted themes and inspection trends
• Opportunities to connect with professionals in similar leadership roles
• Discussion and reflection on current sector challenges
• Practical support to strengthen leadership and management skills
• Peer networking and the sharing of knowledge, experience and best practice
• A strong focus on improving outcomes for children and families
