Early Years Communication Champion Workshop

Location: Queen’s Park learning centre

Selective Mutism

This workshop provides attendees with information on what Selective Mutism is and when to refer to the Speech and Language Therapy Service. In addition, attendees get the opportunity to learn more about what can have a negative impact on the child in the Early Years setting, as well as top tips for supporting young children.

Arrival 18:00-18:30 -

Chat with a therapist - a Speech and Language Therapist will be

available to discuss concerns and provide advice.

Early Years Queries - a member of the EY BCP team

will be available for further support/advice including information

on WellComm and accessing ‘Come Talk With Me’ sessions for families.

Networking – this is a great time to meet and chat with

other Early Years Providers
