In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, Bay Aging is delighted to provide a dual support group that offers simultaneous meetings for individuals who are experiencing early-stage memory changes, and their care partners. We will meet 11:00 AM to Noon on the first Tuesday of each month at Bay Aging’s Daffodil Gardens Community Room in Gloucester, located at 5954 Garden Grove Ln.
The Early-Stage Dual Support Group provides a fun and relaxed way for people living with early-stage memory loss to connect with one another through social events that promote interaction and companionship. At the same time, care partners can connect and share with others in similar situations and receive information and advice from event facilitators.
The bonds formed in support groups often last throughout the continuum of the disease and serve as an important support path for both caregivers and those experiencing changes.
