Travel with the Historical Society to pre-I-5 Whatcom County. On November 13th, historian and journalist Anna Diehl will discuss the early road and highway systems crisscrossing our county, from Guide Meridian down to Chuckanut Drive and everywhere in-between. Take me home county roads!The Whatcom County Historical offers regular Historical Programming on the second Thursday of the month, from October - April.
Programs begin at 7:30 pm in the Roeder Home, located at 2600 Sunset Drive in Bellingham.
Parking is available on the surrounding streets with handicap parking at the rear of the building.
There is room for 50 people to sit in the presentation room.
All Thursday programs are entirely free and open to the public, check in with WCHS to learn about upcoming presentations or propose a future topic.
The Whatcom County Historical Society is a non-profit organization that supports the promotion of Whatcom County history through book publications and educational presentations.
