FSU's Early Music Ensemble is excited to announce our Fall 2024 concert on Tuesday, November 5th at 5pm (DRH). Join us for an evening of Renaissance and Baroque madrigals, dances, and arias, as well as the world premiere of Nathan Davis's "Theatrum Chemicum Floridum"!
Let the magic and mystery of the Halloween season continue... "Theatrum Chemicum Floridum" is a work of musical alchemy, enacting and embodying the Magnum Opus sought across centuries. Or maybe it's only about the idea of enacting the Magnum Opus. Possibly, it's a complete repudiation of the Magnum Opus in favor of extravagant viridity. Come find out!
