This reading is free and open to the public. Books will be sold at the reading by the Plymouth State University Barnes & Noble Bookstore. The poet will be available to sign them after the reading.
Todd Robinson is the author of Mass for Shut-Ins (Backwaters/University of Nebraska Press, 2018) and Note at Heart Rock (Main Street Rag Press, 2012). His writing has appeared in The Adroit Journal, North American Review, The Pinch, Notre Dame Review, Prairie Schooner, Sugar House Review, and elsewhere.
Recipient of the 2024 University of Nebraska-Omaha Alumni Teaching Award, he has conducted writing workshops with The Seven Doctors Project, The Naturalist School, Nebraska Warrior Writers, Nebraska Writers Collective, and the CÚRAM center for research in medical devices. He serves as vice president on the board of directors of Big Feels Lab.
A graduate of Creighton University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he is an Assistant Professor in the Writer’s Workshop at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and caregiver to his partner, a disabled physician.
