Tervetuloa sukeltamaan Juan D'Arienzon musiikin ihmeelliseen maailmaan kuunnellen ja tanssien!
Argentiinan tangon mestareille omistettu tapahtumasarja jatkuu. Tällä kertaa meillä on erityinen päivä oppia lisää ja tanssia tunnetun compas-kuninkaan, maestro Juan D'Arienzon kanssa.
Juan D'Arienzo (1900-1976) oli vaikutusvaltainen argentiinalainen muusikko, viulisti, säveltäjä ja orkesterinjohtaja.
Hänet tunnettiin "Rytmin kuninkaana": hän oli kuuluisa tangon elvyttämisestä energisellä ja tanssittavalla rytmisellä tyylillä, perinteisen "2x4"-tahtilajin pelastamisesta ja sen yhdistämisestä moderniin instrumentointiin. Tämä teki hänestä tangon kulta-ajan keskeisen hahmon ja valtavan menestyksen Argentiinassa ja ulkomailla.

Uran kohokohtia

Ainutlaatuinen tyyli: Toisin kuin muut orkesterit, D'Arienzo palautti tangon vanhan kaartin "Guardia Viejan" rytmisen olemuksen, mutta nykyaikaisilla sovituksilla ja soundilla, mikä teki hänen tangostaan vastustamattoman tanssijoille ja tangon harrastajille.
Massiivinen menestys: Hän saavutti valtavan suosion levyttämällä yli tuhat albumia ja olemalla RCA Victorin yksinoikeudella esiintyvä artisti 40 vuoden ajan (1935–1975).
Hän johti tango-orkestereita, “orquesta tipica”, jotka soittivat tangot, milongat ja valssit terävällä staccato-rytmillä.
D'Arienzo työskenteli monien suurten laulajien, kuten Carlos Danten, Walter Cabralin, Alberto Reynalin, Hector Mauren, Alberto Echagüen, Armando Laborden, Jorge Valdezin ja Libertad Lamarquen kanssa. Usein kuitenkin hänen orkesterinsa laulajat olivat orkesterin palveluksessa, eivätkä päinvastoin. Laulajia käytettiin yhtenä instrumenttina, ei shown tähtenä.

Welcome to dive into the wonderful world of Juan D'Arienzo's music while listening and dancing!
The series of events dedicated to the masters of Argentine tango continues. This time we have a special day to learn more and dance with the renowned maestro Juan D'Arienzo, The King of the Beat.
Juan D'Arienzo (1900-1976) was an influential Argentine musician, violinist, composer, and orchestra leader.
Known as "The King of the Beat," he was famous for revitalizing tango with an energetic and danceable rhythmic style, rescuing the traditional "2x4" time signature and fusing it with modern instrumentation. This made him a central figure of tango's Golden Age and a massive success in Argentina and abroad.

Some highlights of his career

Unique Style: Unlike other orchestras, D'Arienzo recovered the rhythmic essence of the old guard "Guardia Vieja" of tango, but with contemporary arrangements and sounds, making his tangos irresistible to dancers and aficionados.
Massive Success: He achieved immense popularity, recording over a thousand albums and being an exclusive RCA Victor artist for 40 years (1935-1975).
He directed "typical" (tango) orchestras distinguished by their tangos, milongas, and waltzes, with a hard sound marked by staccatos.
D'Arienzo did work with many great singers such as Carlos Dante, Walter Cabral, Alberto, Reynal, Hector Maure, Alberto Echagüe, Armando Laborde, Jorge Valdez, and Libertad Lamarque. But, in general, the singers in his orchestra were at the service of the orchestra, not the other way around. The singers were used as another instrument, not the stars of the show.
Legacy: He is considered one of the most important tango directors, alongside other greats like Troilo and Fresedo, and his music remains fundamental in milongas.
In short, Juan D'Arienzo was a master of rhythm who made generations dance, consolidating tango as a popular phenomenon with his unmistakable energetic and danceable style.
