Día de los Muertos: El Sol Dinner
Día de los Muertos: El Sol Dinner
Tuesday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. | $85 per person
Join Chefs Richard and Giancarlo Sandoval for a special three-course dinner honoring Día de los Muertos through El Sol—the sun, the source of corn, fire, color and time.
Inspired by the sun’s journey across the sky, the evening moves from the stillness before dawn to first light, its golden ascent and the return of dusk. Each course is paired with a drink from the El Sol collection, with ingredients like marigold, saffron, achiote, maíz amarillo and piloncillo bringing warmth, color and ancestral flavor to the table.
The menu includes Luz de Mar Tiradito, bright with saffron and marigold; Fuego del Sol Short Rib, with ember-charred depth; and Amanecer Pumpkin Brûlée, finished with piloncillo, salted caramel and pepita brittle. Aqimero’s glowing ofrenda, golden-hour lighting and culinary storytelling create a welcoming setting to honor loved ones and the memories that continue to guide us. Seating is limited.
