Honor. Remember. Connect. Celebrate.
Join Bird Mejia and Natalia Martinez for a special celebration of Día de los Muertos and explore the rich history, traditions, and meaning behind this beautiful tradition of remembering and honoring those we love who have passed, and the ancestors who came before us
Learn about its ancient roots, the tradition of creating an ofrenda (altar), and the symbolism of the offerings placed upon it. We’ll gather in community for a cacao ceremony, drum journey, sacred circle, and community connection, followed by delicious traditional Día de los Muertos bread.
Natalia Martinez grew up in Mexico and comes from a lineage of healers, bringing a deep connection to the traditions and culture of Día de los Muertos.
Bird Mejia is a teacher, mentor, and guide whose mother grew up in Mexico. Her work incorporates heart-centered practices, joyful experiences, and Indigenous Mexican wisdom.
