Come join Désespoir des singes on 3 and 4 April for two intimate gigs in the heart of Brussels at Le Jardin de ma sœur, a cozy place that seems to be stuck in time - what's not to love about it? The artist will present his new EP "Distant Fire".

Brussels-based indie folk artist Désespoir des singes released his debut EP Distant Fire on 25 February, 2026. A journey through misty paths, lost illusions and burning fields ever closing in on us - mirroring the outside world - but also towards beams of hope. Twilight soundscapes crafted by strong vocals and effect-driven guitars but also arpeggios inspired by folk greats as well as Tamino invite us on a walk to this horizon that is far away yet so close, and find our inner fire to move forward - towards the light or the blaze.
