Dyslexia Awareness Envelope Art Contest CLOSES

🐙CALLING ALL DYSLEXICS!🐙 Or if you have Dysgraphia or Dyscalculia, all the "dys's." We want you to know you're not alone. It's kinda hard functioning out there when your brain processes differently. School is hard. Work is frustrating. Doing the people thing is...people-y. We want you to know that we get it. And we're here for you.
Dyslexia Awareness Month is coming up in October, and we thought we'd do something fun for everyone dealing with a dys on the daily. FrogPatch is partnering with @storytimebookshoptc for an Envelope Art Contest. We want to know what Dyslexia means to you. Do you cope with Dyslexia? Do you support someone who does? Show us your art! We've given you a theme, "Octo-lexia: Tales from the Tentacles." Octo-lexia is a combo of octopus and Dyslexia, and was inspired by FrogPatch's Melanie and her Dyslexia journey.
We're hoping this will become an annual event. Entries are due September 25, 2026, with an opening show at Storytime Bookshop, and a closing show at FrogPatch Paper & Works. Free to enter, envelope size doesn't matter, and we're even providing some envelopes at both Storytime and FrogPatch beginning August 8, 2026.
