Dysfunctional Disco would love to invite you (YES YOU) to join in on another immersive electronic music night at DeVille’s. This time on the Line up we have Pino, the mother of Dysfunctional Disco, and COMMUNICATE - Cyril Orson x Heylady.

Cyril Orson and Heylady have been ferreting away rhythm for well over 50 years between them, and they’ve been playing for just as long. Since banding together they have played across Aotearoa at some of New Zealand’s biggest festivals and club nights. They have quickly garnered a reputation as one of the acts to follow, with their combined passion and experience they bring an energy to the floor that is hypnotising, all-encompassing and unmistakable.

COMMUNICATE is a no-holds-barred exploration of four to the floor, expect underlying elements of broken beat, garage, electronica, punk and rock, and expect it all put together by two humans who can’t live without the harmony they breathe. With each set a tailored, unique experience, COMMUNICATE offers you the chance to take a trip through the vaults of two minds who collect music which has stood the test of time, as well as showcasing the freshest cuts from across the world.

Pino is renowned for her high energy sets with rollicking techno bass lines layered with lashings of house and deeper grooves, alongside tech and indie, all infused with old-school rave influences. She plays a wide variety of sounds ranging from disco and house to slamming 140 bpm techno.
