⭐Dynamics of Contact Improvisation
Open Lesson
Be warmly welcomed to an open lesson of Contact Improvisation (CI) where the main focus will be on finding momentum, agility, flow... in our contact dancing.
This 2 hour lesson will contain technical principles of CI and links with floorwork, soft acrobatics and partnering.
As a starting point, a definition of dynamics:
"Dynamics is the study of the relationship between forces and the motion of bodies.
A force is a push or a pull due to an interaction between two or more bodies which can cause the interacting bodies' motion to change."
The lesson is designed for people with basic experience in Contact Improvisation or interested in exploring this dance form. If you're interested in movement and dance, check it out!

🪸Applications: it is not necessary to register in advance. Just come a little bit before 18:00. There is a lot of space for everyone.
🍃What to bring: Bring comfortable clothes that allow freedom of movement. We will work barefoot or in socks.

About me:
I work as a dance performer, dance maker and improvisation teacher currently in Prague, freelancing with different companies.
I'm a member of available collective where I teach movement improvisation classes, mostly based on contact impro, instant composition and contemporary dance at Prostor 8. And I organice a monthly performance based on instant composition at Cross Attic.
