FLC’s cornerstone leadership experience for people leaders ready to lead in complexity, execute with clarity, and deliver real results.
About this Event

As a people leader, you are often asked to make decisions, strengthen performance, communicate clearly, develop talent, and keep work moving when priorities are competing and conditions are changing. Dynamic Leadership (DLX™) gives you a structured way to work through those responsibilities with practical application, peer insight, facilitator feedback, and resources you can use back at work.

Lead in complexity. Execute with clarity. Deliver real results.

This is where leadership development becomes practical execution.

🔷 EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Two-day, in-person leadership and talent development learning experience

Designed for people leaders, managers, HR, talent, learning, and organizational decision-makers

Focused on real leadership, communication, performance, and talent opportunity areas

Includes guided application, peer insight, group discussion, personal reflection, facilitator feedback, and action planning

Practical resources and structured learning materials included

🔷 HOW IT WORKS

Dynamic Leadership (DLX™) is built around Ferguson Learning Company’s Learn → Practice → Assess protocol, a structured approach designed to move leadership development beyond awareness and into practical execution.

Participants actively engage in practical learning exercises, guided application, partner work, group problem-solving, peer insight, facilitator feedback, real-time assessment, and action planning as they work through leadership, talent, communication, performance, and execution opportunity areas.

Throughout the two days, participants:

Learn leadership and talent concepts grounded in real business and people opportunity areas

Practice applying those concepts through guided discussion and decision scenarios shaped by the real leadership, communication, performance, and talent opportunity areas participants bring into the experience

Assess their decisions, receive feedback, and refine their leadership approach in real time

Participants work through the types of opportunity areas leaders face every day, including performance expectations, communication breakdowns, competing priorities, talent decisions, trust, engagement, development planning, and accountability.

Unlike passive training, DLX™ is designed as a working leadership learning experience. Participants are expected to engage, think critically, apply concepts, test decisions, and refine their leadership approach throughout the two days.

🔷 REAL-WORLD APPLICATION

DLX™ is designed around the real leadership opportunity areas participants bring into the experience — not generic case studies.

Participants apply learning directly to areas such as:

Leading through ambiguity, change, and competing priorities

Addressing team performance and accountability issues

Navigating difficult conversations and communication breakdowns

Building and maintaining trust

Strengthening employee engagement

Making talent decisions that support business objectives

Managing development planning, career conversations, retention, and succession concerns

Navigating decisions when information is incomplete or conditions are changing

Throughout the two days, participants work through these areas with structure, peer insight, facilitator guidance, and practical resources.

🔷 LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Dynamic Leadership (DLX™) is intentionally limited by design.

The experience is structured for small-group interaction, partner-based exercises, guided application, and meaningful facilitator feedback. Participants are not seated as passive observers. They are actively engaged throughout the experience.

This structure supports:

Individual attention from the facilitator

Thoughtful peer interaction and shared insight

More effective partner and small-group dynamics

A focused, high-quality learning environment

Time to work through leadership opportunity areas with practical support

Every participant is expected to engage, contribute, and apply the learning. DLX™ is designed to create a supportive learning environment where leaders can test ideas, challenge assumptions, refine decisions, and strengthen their leadership approach before applying it back at work.

🔷 IMPACT

The focus is simple: develop people leaders who can think more strategically, act more deliberately, and create measurable impact in how their teams and organizations operate.

Participants leave with:

A clearer leadership decision-making approach

Greater confidence leading through complex people and business situations

Practical resources they can apply immediately

A stronger connection between leadership behavior, talent decisions, and business outcomes

A more deliberate approach to communication, accountability, and team performance

🔷 WHO THIS IS FOR

This experience is designed for:

New and experienced people leaders

Managers responsible for team performance, communication, accountability, and development

Leaders navigating complex people and business opportunity areas

HR, talent, and learning professionals supporting leadership development, talent strategy, and performance

Organizations seeking a practical leadership development experience before scaling development internally

Municipalities, public agencies, educational institutions, and cooperative purchasing members exploring leadership development options for their teams

DLX™ is best suited for participants who are ready to engage, contribute, reflect, and apply learning throughout the session.
