FLC’s cornerstone leadership experience for people leaders ready to lead in complexity, execute with clarity, and deliver real results.
About this Event

Dynamic Leadership (DLX™) is Ferguson Learning Company’s cornerstone leadership development experience for people leaders who are navigating complexity, making critical decisions, and driving results through others.

Dynamic Leadership (DLX) is Ferguson Learning Company’s cornerstone leadership development experience for people leaders who are navigating complexity, making critical decisions, and driving results through others.

As a people leader, you are often asked to make decisions, strengthen performance, communicate clearly, develop talent, and keep work moving even when priorities are competing and conditions are changing. DLX gives you a structured way to work through those responsibilities with practical application, feedback, and tools you can use back at work.

Lead in complexity. Execute with clarity. Deliver real results.

DLX™ is built around Ferguson Learning Company’s structured Learn → Practice → Assess protocol. Participants actively engage in practical learning exercises, guided application, peer insight, facilitator feedback, and real-time assessment — creating knowledge transfer as they work through leadership, talent, communication, performance, and execution challenges.

This is where leadership development becomes practical execution.

🔷 EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Two-day, in-person leadership and talent development experience
Limited to 24 participants
Built around Ferguson Learning Company’s Learn → Practice → Assess protocol
Small-group application, peer insight, and facilitator feedback
Designed for people leaders, managers, HR, talent, learning, and organizational decision-makers
Practical tools and structured learning materials included
Focused on real leadership, communication, performance, and talent opportunity areas

🔷 CORE POSITIONING

Dynamic Leadership (DLX™) is the cornerstone leadership development experience at Ferguson Learning Company.

It is built for people leaders who must lead through complexity, make sound decisions with incomplete information, strengthen team performance, and turn leadership insight into practical action.

Unlike passive training, DLX™ is designed as a working leadership experience. Participants are expected to engage, think critically, apply concepts, test decisions, and refine their leadership approach throughout the two days.

🔷 HOW IT WORKS

Dynamic Leadership (DLX™) is built around a structured, active learning model designed for application, reflection, feedback, and practical execution.

Through Ferguson Learning Company’s Learn → Practice → Assess protocol, participants:

Learn leadership and talent concepts grounded in real business and people challenges
Practice applying those concepts through guided discussion, exercises, decision scenarios, and structured application
Assess their decisions, receive feedback, and refine their leadership approach in real time

Participants work through the types of opportunity areas leaders face every day, including performance expectations, communication breakdowns, competing priorities, talent decisions, trust, engagement, development planning, and accountability.

Throughout the experience, you actively participate in practical learning exercises, table discussion, reflection time, partner work, group problem-solving, and action planning. You also receive practical templates for action planning, one-on-one conversations, talent acquisition, career conversations, and development planning — resources designed to help you continue applying the experience after the session.

🔷 IMPACT

The focus is simple: develop people leaders who can think more strategically, act more deliberately, and create measurable impact in how their teams and organizations operate.

Participants leave with:

A clearer leadership decision-making approach
Greater confidence leading through complex people and business situations
Practical tools and templates they can apply immediately
A stronger connection between leadership behavior, talent decisions, and business outcomes
A more deliberate approach to communication, accountability, and team performance

🔷 REAL-WORLD APPLICATION

DLX™ is designed around real leadership opportunity areas — not hypothetical case studies alone.

Participants apply learning directly to challenges such as:

Leading through ambiguity, change, and competing priorities
Addressing team performance and accountability issues
Navigating difficult conversations and communication breakdowns
Building and maintaining trust
Strengthening employee engagement
Making talent decisions that support business objectives
Managing development planning, career conversations, retention, and succession concerns
Making decisions when information is incomplete or conditions are changing

Participants are encouraged to bring real leadership and business challenges into the experience. Throughout the two days, they work through those challenges with structure, peer insight, facilitator guidance, and practical tools.

🔷 LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Dynamic Leadership (DLX™) is intentionally limited to 24 participants.

This is by design — not constraint.

The experience is structured for small-group interaction, partner-based exercises, guided application, and meaningful facilitator feedback. Participants are not seated as passive observers. They are actively engaged throughout the experience.

This structure supports:

Individual attention from the facilitator
Thoughtful peer interaction and shared insight
More effective partner and small-group dynamics
A focused, high-quality learning environment
Time to work through leadership challenges with practical support

Every participant is expected to engage, contribute, and apply the learning. DLX™ is designed to create a failsafe environment where leaders can test ideas, challenge assumptions, refine decisions, and strengthen their leadership approach before applying it back at work.

🔷 WHO THIS IS FOR

This experience is designed for:

New and experienced people leaders

Managers responsible for team performance, communication, accountability, and development

Leaders navigating complex people and business challenges

HR, talent, and learning professionals supporting leadership development, talent strategy, and performance

Organizations seeking a practical leadership development experience before scaling development internally

Municipalities, public agencies, educational institutions, and cooperative purchasing members exploring leadership development options for their teams

DLX™ is best suited for participants who are ready to engage, contribute, reflect, and apply learning throughout the session.

🔷 PRE-WORK

Participants will receive pre-work instructions following registration.

The pre-work is designed to help participants arrive prepared to engage fully in the experience and identify relevant leadership opportunity areas they may want to work through during the session.
