Dylan was born with hypoplastic right heart syndrome, dextracardia, bilateral superior vena cavas, coarctation of his aorta, and transposition of his great arteries. He has had 4 open heart surgeries as well as numerous heart catherizations to sustain his life. Dylan suffered a massive stroke in infancy affecting majority of the right hemisphere of his brain, then a second stroke in 2019. He deals with daily struggles from his left sided weakness as well as symptomatic seizures and mild intellectual disability.
Now at 15, Dylan is loving school at St. Paul's, participating in Miracle League sports and helping to coach his brother's flag football and baseball teams.
