The year is 2125, 100 years after the bombs fell. The descendants of the survivors are starting to come out of their shelters and discovering a world that has yet to be explored. Radiation is still poisoning the earth and survivors are forced to find ways to rebuild and survive while cleaning the earth of its sickness. Supplies and essentials that were once readily available on store shelves are now a rarity that settlements fight and die over. Food, water, medicine, ammo, the new riches in this war torn wasteland where paper currency means nothing. Unspeakable dangers await each survivor that tries to find their own way. While some rebuild civilization from the rubble of old, others scavenge what they can and move on to the next site in hopes of finding unwritten treasures. There are groups of survivors that believe that with the technology from before the blast they can rebuild the world that those before them once knew and should be saved by any means necessary. There are others that believe the past should be forgotten or else we are doomed to repeat the mistakes made before us, and that the relics of the past should be destroyed at any cost. This style event is loosely based on different movie and video game franchises such as Fallout, Mad Max, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, and Metro. The point of this event is to present an open world role playing experience where every player gets to create their own story in an apocalyptic atmosphere. We will give a broad premise of a story and allow players to play how they want. They can spend the day working with main groups completing objectives and quests to “Win” at the end of the event or they can sit in the middle of the forest and play a guitar to satisfy their “end of world” fantasies. There is no wrong way to play at our events as long as all safety and game rules are followed.
