Join us for a special collab between Animal Victory Meetup and Direct Action Everywhere Los Angeles! This is the first of DxE LA's "Role Play" series, where we train new and experienced activists in protest roles so we can all grow stronger and more effective in our animal rights activism. This training will focus on Speakouts, lead by Almira Tanner, DxE Lead Organizer! Come learn how to give an impassioned speech for any topic, either improvised or prepared ahead of time. All levels of experience are welcome.Like always, Animal Victory Meetup is open to anyone interested in helping animals, regardless of experience level or diet. Whether you're brand new to activism or deeply involved already, you belong here.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and additional plant-based treats are welcome!
Directly after the meetup, DxE LA will lead a protest at the nearby Erewhon, where we'll call for this luxury LA grocery chain to adopt a Factory Farm-Free Policy, so plan to stick around if you can.
